The Nigeria Police Force has declared its recruitment exercise for Constables. The Nigeria Police Force disclosed that the recruitment would begin on 2021.

The force has also drafted criteria for expected candidates to which include: not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB O’ Level certificate with at least five Credit passes including Mathematics and English Language.
A report published by the Nigeria Police Force states that all candidates must have a functional, mobile phone number and email address and apply online.
Below are complete steps to applying:
i). Education: Must have an O’ Level Certificate at least Five (5) Credits level passes including Mathematics and English Language in not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCE/N ECO/NABTEB.
ii). Chest Measurement: Must not have less than 86cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurement (men only).
iii). Nationality: Be a Nigerian citizen by birth and own National Identity Number (NIN).
iv). Height: Must not be less than 1.67 meters in height for men and 1.64 meters for women.
v). Character: Must be of good behavior and must not have been convicted of any criminal offense.
vi). Age: Must not be less than 18 years of age or more than 25 years of age.
vii). Financial Status: Must be free from any financial embarrassment.
viii). Pregnancy: Must not be pregnant at the time of Recruitment.
ix). Physical Features: Must not have any one of the following abnormalities or deformities: Bent Knees, Knock Knees, Speech Impediment, Bow Legs, Flat Feet, Tattoos, Deformed Hands which cannot perform the full functions of the hand, Bodily Scar, Defective Eyesight or Squint Eyes, Gross Malformation of teeth, Protruding Navel, Amputation of any part of the body.
x). Guarantors’ Form: Must download and fill the Guarantors’ Form and present a valid references from any two (2) of the following: Magistrate, Traditional Rulers, Heads of Educational Institutions attended, Local Government Chairman, Career Civil Servant not below the rank of Grade Level 12, Military Officer not below the rank of Lieutenant Colonel or Police Officer not below the rank of CSP. Ownership of a valid National Drivers’ License is an added benefit.
